CLAY MASK VS SHEET MASK, WHICH IS FOR YOU
By Zoey Phoon
Who doesn’t love a good pamper session with a good mask? After a long day out with a full face of makeup, I’m sure all you wanna do is wipe it all off and strip down to the bare minimum. If you ask me, my favourite thing to do after a long and hectic day out is to mask my face.
There are essentially two sorts of mask that people usually go for. One’s the clay mask and the other is the sheet mask. Now, you may have wondered which one suits your skin the best. Here’s all you gotta know to pick the right choice of mask.
WHY CHOOSE CLAY MASK
Good for oily/acne-prone skin
Clay draws out all the toxins and impurities from the skin
Reduces your chances of getting clogged pores that leads to a breakout
Apply the clay mask to your T-zone and cheeks at least two to three time a week for the best results if you have oily/acne-prone skin. However, if you have combination skin, you can apply it once a week or whenever you feel necessary as it will dry you out and do more harm than good.
WHY GO FOR SHEET MASK?
Good for dry/normal skin
Good source of hydration for the skin
Helps with dry skin and patches
Keep your sheet masks in the fridge for a more refreshing pamper session after a long day. You can do it two to three times a week for the best results. There are usually a variety to choose from like hydration, brightening, mattifying and more. So, pick and choose which one you need today for a quick fix.
